Video and image formats
Eduvem accepts the most common learning material formats. Practical recommendations by type:
Videos
Section titled “Videos”- Prefer MP4 (H.264): it is the format with the best compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Videos hosted on external services can also be embedded in the content, depending on the institution’s configuration.
- For audiences with limited internet, export at a balanced resolution (720p is usually enough for lectures).
Images
Section titled “Images”- JPG for photos and PNG for graphics, screenshots and images with text.
- The content’s cover image appears on the showcase: use good-resolution artwork and avoid small text.
Documents
Section titled “Documents”- PDF is the recommended format for course booklets, guides and reading material: it preserves the layout on any device.
- Convert presentations and spreadsheets to PDF before publishing, so everyone sees the same result.
Per-file size limits
Section titled “Per-file size limits”Every upload made in the content editor has a ceiling. A file exactly at the limit is refused - read each line as “less than”.
