Eduvem news by e-mail
After each major platform release, Eduvem sends the administrators of your institution a short e-mail with what is new and how to use it. This page explains how to control whether you receive it.
When the e-mail arrives
Section titled “When the e-mail arrives”The e-mail is sent on the business day after a release, in the morning (Brasilia time). It reaches the administrators of the institution, not the participants.
Stop or resume receiving it from your profile
Section titled “Stop or resume receiving it from your profile”- Open your profile from the top menu.
- Find the Receive Eduvem news option. It is checked by default.
- Uncheck it to stop receiving the e-mail, or check it again to resume.
The change is saved as soon as you click, and the platform shows the message Preference saved. You do not need to use the profile save button.

Stop receiving it from the e-mail itself
Section titled “Stop receiving it from the e-mail itself”Every news e-mail ends with a link to stop receiving it. When you open it:
- Confirm with the Stop receiving button. The page does not require you to sign in.
- The next page tells you the address will no longer receive the news. If you change your mind, use the Turn back on button on that same page.
Stopping through that link is the same as unchecking the option in your profile, and checking the option again in your profile turns the e-mail back on.
If your institution does not receive the e-mail
Section titled “If your institution does not receive the e-mail”News e-mails can also be turned off for a whole institution, and that setting is managed by Eduvem. If nobody at your institution receives the e-mail and you would like to, contact Eduvem support.
