SSO: profile filled with company data

If your institution uses single sign-on (SSO) via SAML, such as Microsoft Entra ID, Eduvem can set up the platform to fill in participant profile fields automatically with information the company’s identity system already sends at sign-in: department, job title, cost center, employee ID and others.

The data goes into your institution’s Custom registration fields, and can be used in reports and filters like any other registration field.

How it works

• At each sign-in, the values sent by the identity system update the configured fields when they differ from what is stored.
• A value that arrives empty (or does not arrive) never erases what is already in the profile.
• Only custom registration fields can be filled this way.

How to ask for it

1. Create in your institution the Custom registration fields that will receive the data.
2. With your IT team, confirm which attributes the identity system sends at sign-in (for example, department or jobTitle). IT may need to add them to the SSO setup.
3. Contact Eduvem support and say, for each attribute, which custom field should receive it.
