Your own address for the platform

By default, your institution’s platform lives at an Eduvem address, such as yourinstitution.eduvem.com. The Eduvem team can set up an address on your own domain, for example learning.yourcompany.com or courses.yourschool.com.

Participants then reach the platform and receive email links through the new address, with a secure connection (HTTPS) provided by Eduvem. You do not need to buy or send any security certificate.

How it works

1. Contact the Eduvem team with the address you want. It must be a subdomain of one of your organization’s domains (such as learning.yourcompany.com), not the main domain (yourcompany.com).
2. DNS setup. Eduvem sends two records for your institution’s IT team to create at the domain’s DNS provider. The validation code is valid for a few days; if it expires, just ask for a new one.
3. Activation. Once IT confirms, Eduvem completes the setup. The new address is usually active within a few hours and may take up to 48 hours.

Caution

If your institution uses single sign-on (SSO), tell the Eduvem team: the sign-in setup also has to be adjusted to the new address.
