Learner agenda
The Learner agenda is a line on the Flix home screen, for every participant, showing the next item among live classes, in-person sessions and assignments across every class they are enrolled in, for the next 14 days. Clicking the line opens the full list right below it; clicking again closes it.
Where to configure it
Section titled “Where to configure it”In the institution’s Classroom section, check Learner agenda? and save.

What the participant sees
Section titled “What the participant sees”With the feature on, the home screen gains a line, above the banners, with two parts: on the left, the next item, in the shape Next:
The full list gathers, for the next 14 days and across every class the participant is enrolled in, three kinds of item:
- Live classes - every scheduled live class the participant may join.
- In-person sessions - in-person sessions scheduled on the class, with the location. This section only exists when the institution also has the Allow roll call setting turned on. When a session has no reliable start time, the item shows only the date, with no time.
- Assignments - assignments due soon or already overdue, with the status Submitted, Graded, Due soon, Overdue, or Blocked. An assignment submitted late gets the Submitted late note.
Each item shows the class name and, when you click anywhere on it (outside the buttons), it takes you straight to the class. Times are shown in the institution’s time zone. Only the participant’s active, not-yet-expired enrollments count.
A live class about to start
Section titled “A live class about to start”When a live class is within 15 minutes of starting (or already in progress), the line at the top itself becomes an alert:
A calendar icon inside the full list offers Add to calendar for every live class, downloading a file for the participant to import into their own calendar.
On the class card
Section titled “On the class card”Every class with something coming up shows its own next item as a small badge on the corner of the content cover, with an icon and the date.
When nothing shows up
Section titled “When nothing shows up”When the participant has nothing scheduled for the next 14 days, the line simply does not appear - with no message in its place. If one of the Agenda’s lookups fails on the server, the other kinds of item keep appearing normally in the full list, with the Some items may not be showing right now. notice in place of what is missing. If the whole lookup fails, or if the institution does not have Learner agenda turned on, the line simply does not appear - with no error message.
Common questions
Section titled “Common questions”Does this replace the showcase? No. The line sits above the banners, inside the home screen itself - the showcase stays exactly as it was.
Do in-person sessions show up for every institution? No. They only enter the Agenda when the institution also has Allow roll call turned on.
Can a participant turn the Agenda off for themselves? No. The setting belongs to the whole institution; only an institution administrator turns it on or off.
